Latest patch

Well, there I was all set up for some game play tonight, and I can't get the patch to install. It keeps telling me that a certain .dll is already in use somewhere and then shuts off the patch

Anyone have an idea what I can do?

I had a similar .dll problem once. My solution was to replace the existing .dll with another one.

So, try download mine and paste it in your maple folder:

I'm trying the manual patch now, but that's also pausing on the same file, no progress at all.

Right, that didn't work. So I uninstalled and reinstalled and the patch now zonked on a different .dll

I will update the machine upstairs tonight and see if I can get it working that way

i think froze suggested that ingame already, or was it here?
Anyway, installing the patch in administrator mode would be a good idea. I found someone on the web with a similar problem, and that fixed it for him.

What OS do you use Gwen? Do you know how to get into the admin mode in Windows?

Well, that was fun. After trying all possible permutations, Nexon updated the whole thing and I didn't need to patch anymore!
